As part of the 5th International Day of Democracy, DFA/ASP invites the public to a conference on the role of higher education in peace and nonviolence education. A central topic of discussion will be audiovisual documents as tools for effective peace education aimed at developing democratic citizenship skills from an early age. Representatives from academia, media, culture, and DFA/ASP students will speak at the conference (detailed program to follow).
A guided tour of the "PUBLICsPACE" installation with curator Noah Stolz will follow at 5 p.m.
